Dr. Nicole Lee is a board-certified dual degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach and extensive training in both dentistry and medicine. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from UCLA and went on to obtain her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from UCSF.
Dr. Lee completed her rigorous six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at UCSF, where she served as Chief Resident. During her training, she gained extensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, reconstructive procedures, and advanced anesthesia. Her surgical and medical training included rotations in trauma surgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, and otolaryngology at leading institutions such as UCSF Parnassus Hospital, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, and the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Before pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Lee studied Studio Art at Pomona College, where she developed a strong foundation in sculpture, painting, and design. Her artistic background enhances her precision and attention to detail in surgical procedures, particularly in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. She has exhibited her work in multiple art shows and has been published in art journals.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lee is passionate about community service and has provided oral surgery care to underserved populations in Oakland and San Francisco. She is committed to delivering the highest quality surgical care with a focus on safety, precision, and compassion.
